Thus, any lapses in enrollment (e.g., leave of absence, etc.) count toward the time-to-completion. An entering cohort is defined by academic year of entry (for example, the 2017-18 cohort includes students who entered in Summer 2017, Fall 2017, and Spring 2018). These data include part-time students as well as students who stopped out. Completion rates are cumulative: for example, a 6-Yr completion rate indicates the percent of students who graduated in 6 years or less.
